Handmade Button Hair Clips - Sparkly Metallic Pink - dorset buttons

These handmade button hair clips are made using the traditional Dorset Buttons (or Crosswheel) technique.

Embroidery thread (or floss) is wrapped round, and then wound round and woven through, a ring. In this case a small plastic ring.

I use this traditional technique and then play with colours - finding combinations that I love.

These clips use a pair of sparkly glittery pink handmade buttons which have then been glued (using super duper strong glue) onto metal bobby pin clips.

These are and lovely and unusual pair of hair clips.
